Summer Glau, an American actor, is most well-known for her role in the roles of River Tam and Cameron in Firefly. Sarah Connor Chronicles. In addition to these films, she also appeared in two shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered and Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck as well as co-starring in the popular series Hawaii Five-0. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Marcela Quintanilla's youngest child and Selena's birth date was the 16th of April, 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas. Selena began her music career in the age of eight years old in a band that was founded by Abraham Quintanilla. Selena joined her elder siblings Abraham Junior who was playing bass guitar. Sister Suzette played drums. Selena performed as the lead singer. Selena Y Los Dino is the name of the band and Selena performed along with her elder siblings at events like weddings and bars, and other venues. Selena as well as her siblings and their parents were extremely busy with the band. They never really had an early childhood. However, Abraham inspired them to be determined musicians because of his passion. Abraham senior performed in Los Dinos, the band that started it all. Selena Y Los Dinos was founded in the year 1981. The band was the family business and the main source of income for the family. The Quintanilla family were determined to succeed despite the difficulties and the financial difficulties initially. The perseverance paid dividends in the 1980's when Selena Y Los Dinos gained notoriety in the western states. The first time Selena was successful was in the year 1986, when she was awarded the distinction of Female Vocalist Of The Year as well as Performer of the Year at the Tejano music awards. From that point on Selena Y Los Dinos were one of the most successful winners each year and earned notoriety and fame. Many Spanish television shows that were based in Spanish including El Show De Johnny Canales always in Domingo (Saturday Night Gigante) and El Show De Johnny Canales always on Sunday were featured.
