Allana Ferguson bio
Allana was a player for Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013 and then sustained a series of injuries to her knees which forced Allana to retire from the field. Allana returned to playing cricket after some time. Allana was the first to play in a women's rugby union game played in New South Wales as was the main focus of the match that was played against Queensland. Allana also added radio to the game, and has regular appearances as part of 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana is a teacher with a complete qualification outside of sports. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos superstar and teacher who is qualified in addition to her sporting career she has played for Australia at three times, in touch football, rugby league, and rugby sevens. Allana Ferguson soccer player for Jillaroos and a league player for the Jillaroos of Australia team, has had to put a premature end to her professional career within the game after tearing her ACL on a fourth occasion. Ferguson aged 25, has previously suffered tears to the same ligament at the age of 15 or 17 years old, and then 20 when she was 17. A fourth tear indicated her playing days were over. Ferguson was the JILLAROOS team's lead player. The decision to leave was due to her fourth ACL left injury. Ferguson was injured in November in a practice session. The Courier Mail confirmed the announcement earlier this week. Ferguson has been the woman's representative in the women's league for the past couple of seasons.
